Mein Krankenhauserlebnis ist vorbei und ich habe eine Diagnose. Nur leider die falsche.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Jemand hat zugeh\u00f6rt <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Andererseits: Was spielt der Name schon f\u00fcr eine Rolle, wenn die Auswirkungen mich schon mehrfach fast dahingerafft h\u00e4tten? Vielleicht ist es so gewollt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gro\u00dfer Dank geb\u00fchrt jedenfalls der freundlichen Ober\u00e4rztin, die f\u00fcr mich ihren Dienst unterbrochen hat, bereit war, sich meine Geschichte anzuh\u00f6ren und daraufhin eine station\u00e4re Aufnahme in die Wege leitete. Es mag sarkastisch klingen, doch ich meine das durchaus ernst. Allein, dass mir mal jemand zugeh\u00f6rt hat, war f\u00fcr mich eine gro\u00dfes Entgegenkommen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe Epilepsie?!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Im Krankenhaus wurden alle Sorten von Tests durchgef\u00fchrt, die eine neurologische Station anzubieten hat: MRT, Bluttests, normales EEG, NLG, Lumbalpunktion, Stress-EEG (dabei muss man eine Nacht lang wach bleiben und am n\u00e4chsten Morgen werden die Gehirnwellen gemessen) usw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eines Abends lag urpl\u00f6tzlich eine Tablette auf meinem Nachttisch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Das ist ein Antiepileptikum“, erkl\u00e4rte mir eine Schwester und ich konnte nur stutzen: „Ich habe Epilepsie?!“ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verlegenheitsdiagnose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Windeseile trat die Krankenschwester an die T\u00fcr, schob ihren Arm Richtung Flur und angelte mir den erstbesten Arzt, damit dieser mir all die l\u00e4stigen Fragen beantwortet, die wasserfallartig aus mir heraussprudelten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Die m\u00fcssen da was entdeckt haben“, schlussfolgerte er aus meiner Akte, die ihm zuvor ruppig in die H\u00e4nde gedr\u00fcckt worden war. „Nun gut“, dachte ich \u00fcberfahren und zugleich gl\u00fccklich, weil ich endlich, nach all der Qu\u00e4lerei, Hilfe bekam, „vielleicht ist es wirklich nur Epilepsie. Gibt da ja tausend Formen.“ Ich schluckte also die Tablette. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenig sp\u00e4ter jedoch lie\u00df ich meinen Verstand obsiegen: „Epilepsie?! Das passt doch vorn und hinten nicht!“ – selbst unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung der Tatsache, dass so ein filmreifer Krampfanfall (den ich niemals im Leben hatte) nicht das einzige Symptom dieser Krankheit darstellt. Es passte nicht! Da die \u00c4rzte das jedoch anders sahen, bekam ich prompt ein Jahr lang Fahrverbot aufgebrummt – f\u00fcr den Fall, dass mich was Epilepsieartiges \u00fcberf\u00e4llt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zwei Wochen sp\u00e4ter suchte ich mir aus lauter Frust einen anderen Neurologen. Dieser bezeichnete die L\u00f6sung seiner Kollegen als „Verlegenheitsdiagnose“ und schenkte mir im Austausch eine Depression, eine Generalisierte Angstst\u00f6rung und noch irgendwas, wof\u00fcr es abermals lauter Tabletten f\u00fcr mich gab – die allerdings bis heute in der Apotheke auf mich warten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
