Es wird oft verwendet, um neurologische St\u00f6rungen zu diagnostizieren, einschlie\u00dflich Epilepsie, Schlafst\u00f6rungen und Demenz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein EEG kann ebenso verwendet werden, um die Auswirkungen von nitrosativem Stress auf das Gehirn zu untersuchen. Studien haben gezeigt, dass Personen, die einem hohen Ma\u00df an nitrosativen Stress ausgesetzt sind, eine erh\u00f6hte Anzahl von EEG-Anomalien aufweisen k\u00f6nnen, einschlie\u00dflich Ver\u00e4nderungen in der Amplitude und Frequenz der Gehirnwellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei mir zeigen EEG-Untersuchungen Theta-Wellen. Theta-Wellen sind Gehirnwellen, die f\u00fcr Erm\u00fcdung stehen (4 bis 8 Hz), also typischerweise in Schlafphasen vorkommen.
